Mike Todoran

Builder's Story

“I am personally involved in putting the pieces together of these highly detailed homes. It is so enjoyable to see what you can produce when you take part in the process from start to finish. You can stand back and admire what you’ve accomplished.”
- Mike Todoran

Mike Todoran’s approach to building custom homes has always been very hands-on. “If we build 10 or 12 a year, that’s good. I don’t want to go beyond that.”

Mike prefers constructing period homes with designs inspired in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. And as Mike says, “The more details, better.”

As a result, Keystone Homes has built a lot of Prairie and Victorian style homes. Over fifty Keystone Homes grace the lakes of Northeast Indiana and Southern Michigan.

Backing up Mike are three well respected Northeast Indiana architects, and a team of the best home building craftsmen available. “We go back 25 years with some of these companies and the average is 10 to 15 years,” says Mike. “We enjoy a team approach with our subcontractors, and that’s good for the home builder because it helps tie every part of the house together.

There are two things Mike is especially proud of: No two Keystone Homes are alike, and most of his customers are referred to him by past clients. As Mike says, “There’s a tremendous satisfaction in knowing the people you’ve worked for are so pleased with their homes that they would send their friends and family to us.”

So, if you really want to know “About Us,” just ask the person who’s built a Keystone Home.
